RS–232 Port Extender/Converter

Description

The VP−14xl is a port extender for RS−232 RS−485 or USB command signals. The unit converts the incoming commands to three RS−232 outputs.

• Hardware or Software Mode Operation.
• DIP-Switch Controls – For HW source SW addressing and baud rate.

Applications
• Converting USB and RS–485 interfaces to RS–232 interfaces .
• Monitoring several RS–232 controlled machines via one PC port.
• Inter–communication between several serially controlled machines.
