The 7408 is a format converter for SDI (SMPTE 259M) signals. It converts an SDI video signal to composite video and s-Video (Y/C) or component (YUV) video.

oMulti-Standard – PAL (B/D/G/H/I/N) & NTSC (3.58/4.43).
oNTSC Decoding Options – With or without 7.5IRE setup (pedestal).
oProcAmp Control – Brightness contrast color (saturation) sharpness and hue (NTSC only) via RS-232.
oNon-volatile Memory.
oControl – Front panel and RS-232 (Windows?-based software is included).
oResolution – 10-bit.
oLooping Input – Reclocked and equalized.
oCompact DigiTOOLS? – 3 units can be rack mounted side-by-side in a 1U rack space with the optional RK-3T rack adapter.
