DPEXTEND

Description

The Datapath DPextend module allows the DisplayPort outputs of the Datapath ImageDP4 video graphics card to drive resolutions of up to 2560x1600x60Hz over 30m into a native DisplayPort monitor.

The compact DPextend module sits securely in the middle of the cable run using full-sized locking DisplayPort connectors and intelligently boosts and equalises the DisplayPort signals to extend the cable length. Using high quality Datapath supplied DisplayPort cables the DPextend can support 15m cables on both input and output ports giving a cable reach of 30m for added flexibility in multi-screen system solutions.

The DPextend is entirely powered from the ImageDP4 graphics card output connectors provided that Datapath DisplayPort cables are used. The DPextend also compensates for voltage losses in the cables to allow it to additionally forward power to a DPadapt module for ultimate conversion to DVI.
